This quirky gadget can poach your egg on a poaching tray for muffin-sized eggs, or hard boil them in a steamer tray. The Toast N’ Egg has two wide slots for toasting, ideal for bread, muffins or bagels. Tefal owes its origins to Frenchman Marc Grégoire, an engineer and keen fisherman. Monsieur Grégoire wanted the reel on his rod to run more smoothly, and experimented in the 1950s to see if a non-stick coating would work.
